When the provider is Unknown, please add "New Status" to the menu to allow us to enter information.

I use Deliveries to add everything I order online. I set it as Unknown and I set the tracking to link to the order on the website. When I get the tracking number I update the entry. This removes the website. I want you to add a new field where a URL can be stored so we can keep a record of where we ordered. Then an item "Go To Website" on the menu.

The Cainiao website provides an estimated delivery date both on the web site and in the API.

Gives an json message and module[0].globalEtaInfo.deliveryMinTime and module[0].globalEtaInfo.deliveryMaxTime give a bound for for the delivery time in miliseconds since the Epoch. In all examples I have seen they have the same value.

Some packages are handed over to a "last mile" carriers that give more detailed information than the original carrier.
It would be nice to not have to add two deliveries with the same tracking numer but different carriers.

I wish there was a way to keep track of orders at the time of purchase, prior to them being shipped. I buy alot of things online from various sites/vendors. I use deliverries to keep track of my deliveries once they are shipped, but I have a total blind spot before things are shipped. I'd like to add orders once they are made, via email forwarding perhaps, that later can update once they are shipped with the tracking info. If this is out of scope, does anyone have a recommendation of an app that helps track orders?

There are many numbers that are not tracked recently and details are difficult to understand

I often get packages from Germany that are sent with DHL with final delivery through POST Luxembourg.

The DHL tracking gives as its final step the following:

"The shipment will be transported to the destination country/destination area and, from there, handed over to the delivery organization. (Homepage / online shipment tracking: http://www.trackandtrace.lu/homepage.htm?locale=en_GB)"

I can then continue tracking via trackandtrace.lu with the same package number.

The final text returned by DHL is quite specific. It would be nice if this text would be detected and if a partial delivery would then be added automatically.

Let me know if you need further information regarding this suggestion.

If the app would allow me to paste a usps or ups URL instead of the tracking number, that would be really helpful. Ideally, I would paste the url and it would immediately parse the tracking number from the link and that would be pasted in the tracking number field instead.

Hello,

I like your tracking app a lot, the carriers are up to date and work fine!

But do you think of implementing multiple carriers for one item, like other tracking apps have?

It often happens that carriers work together, but the main carrier only has "basic" updates.

For example, DHL ships the item, and hands it over to a local delivery carrier (for example bpost). You choose DHL in the start, but when it is handed over to bpost, you only get a notification when the item is delivered, while bpost has a lot of other notifications. When you know it is handed over, you can of course manually change the carrier, but it would be easier if you could choose DHL *and* bpost.

The same goes for a lot of Chinese carriers and PostNL, or it could even be nice to add a secondary tracker like 17track in an item.

That would really increase the convenience of manually entering new packages.

I buy many intems in china, and, for tracking i use for exemple Cainaio for france to china, and when in france i track the parcel with postfr

In the app i had 2 time my percel : one with Cainaio tracking, one with POSTFR

So my suggstion is to add a 2nd optional provider for one parcel and to track the parcel with the two providers in the same view

Being the app already tracks a package's delivery date, and counts days down, i'd like to request an option to increase the refresh frequency of that package's tracking status, so that you may be more quickly notified once delivery has happened.

I typically set updates to once every two hours.. it would be awesome to set that down to 15-30min for packages that are either delivering today, or even better once a package has reached "out for delivery" status with the carrier to further narrow that down. Returning to normal intervals once the package has been delivered, or an exception has been made.

I see that the UPS class doesn't support greek language. I can provide you the details that may help you implement it. So, for greek language there are two options, one for Greece (el_GR) and one for Cyprus (el_CY). Both countries use this date format:

Observation:

Whenever I open the map, it zooms to fit all of the reported locations so far. If there has only been one location update, the map will zoom in very close. I then have to zoom out the map to understand how far away my package is.

Suggestion:

If a user could set their home location, the app could instead zoom to fit the delivery locations AND their home location. This would remove the need to zoom out and would simplify the experience.

Share button that remembers last action in detailed view

The share function is one of my favorite features, as I can get a barcode of the tracking code. Our post office can read the barcode very quickly. However, it is a bit slow to access the feature for multiple packages as it requires 3 button presses.

My request:

On the detailed view of a package, add a share button next to menu, completed and refresh button. The share button can remember the last action (message, qr-code, barcode) like chrome and firefox do.

The api for Posti Finland has started throttling requests. I can only refresh 4 packages, then I have to wait 30s before I can update anything.

I ask for a simple "delay after each refresh" in the settings. I would be happy to just add a 10s delay between each package. Then my entire list would update automatically and I don't have to refresh the rest manually.

Currently if I call a web site from within the Deliveries app or from the sync page they are opened with English settings. I am using mainly German delivery companies and it would be good to have a option to first use the default language from the app/account and only use English as a fallback.

As someone who frequently gets packages from UPS Mail innovations, it would be cool if you could set it so if it seems a UPS package says it's transfered to USPS, if switches the shipper to USPS automatically, as when USPS gets it, the updates usually appear much faster when you change the shipper in deliveries to them, as apposed to leaving it as UPS

When tracking packages from China, for example with Cainiao, sometimes the text is in Chinese, sometimes in English. Would it be possible to automatically translate the Chinese to English in these status messages ?

Something of the sort:

If the carrier information is in Chinese:
- Translate it to English (or another language)
- Print the translate message (with an indicator that it was machine translated)

I use the Deliveries app to track orders that I am having delivered to me as well as ones that I am picking up myself in-store. If there was a courier I could choose caller "Self Pickup" that would be a huge help. Then I can keep tabs on which orders I am supposed to pickup myself and can enter the date I'm due to pick the order up on in the tracking number field. It would be much more intuitive and meaningful than leaving these entries coded as "Unknown." Thanks so much for any consideration!

When I'm at the post office or similar, I need to tell them my Tracking-ID for them to find the shipment.

It is quite cumbersome to read out all the numbers and characters. Also, the text is quite small.
So, a great addition to the app would be to be able to Generate a bar-code and a QR-code from the tracking-ID.
Either through the three-dots menu or by a dedicated button.
That would bring up a new page with both a bar-code and a QR-code, so that the clerk at the post office simply can scan it, to get the Tracking-ID into his/her terminal.

EDIT: I see from another request that a similar function already is available.
Perhaps a more intuitive way to find it? "Share" is not the most intuitive location. At least not for me. :)
Also, some Tracking-IDs cannot be made into bar-code. Is this due to not only containing numbers?

Having more options to sort and filter our shipments by carrier would be highly beneficial, and it would be significantly better if the user had the ability to create custom labels for shipments i.e. from specific vendors/stores so we can sort through them by this metric as well as by the carrier. Also, the user experience would benefit greatly from the app's ability to automatically detect a carrier when entering a tracking number.

I migrated to deliveries from package buddy, which is now dead, and I like it so far, but it lacks two very convenient features of package buddy; selecting which status updates come through push notifications (I usually only select out for delivery and if there's a delay), and the shipping carrier being auto-selected when entering the tracking number.

If those features are coming, I'll get the pro version right away.

I was wondering how hard would it be to add integration with AliExpress, using username and password. I doubt they have any sort of API, and a lot of times it's hard to figure out what courier service is the right one (I personally just stick the tracking number as USPS, the destination mail company). When shipping by ePacket it shows up fine, but others are hit and miss.
