I have searched in all the settings, but cannot find where to create an account for sync.  If I go the web page, I am instructed to "create an account within the app first."  Around and around and around, but no solution in sight.  :-)

Where in the app???

It's located at Settings -> Synchronization. There you have two buttons - one with a Google symbol to log in with your Google account and one with a Deliveries icon to create an account using custom credentials.

Thanks for the quick reply. The problem is that the Deliveries option is greyed out! Pro status is active; previously locked options are available, but not the deliveries web option. Can you advise?

What does the option with the Google account say? In general, the Deliveries option can only be greyed out if you're already connected with your Google account.

Again thanks for the speedy answer!  After revoking google I was able to register for Deliveries. Even though I got a message saying that it could not connect me, it did so anyway.
A suggestion: add a note on that screen that says only one service can be active at any time.
