Floating Action Button broken in 5.2

Question 1

In the latest update, V5.2, the FAB appears to be working incorrectly. There is no coloured circle, meaning the icon on the FAB (for example, a '+' to add a new shipment) appears as a white icon on a white background, making it virtually impossible to see. Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm getting a few reports of this. What theme are you using and what Android version are you on?

Android 7.1.1 on a Pixel XL. Running default theme.
