This is really a small change that would make the whole app experience much better. When I am adding a shipment, and I go to set the carrier, I have to tap in the text box to pull up the keyboard.

Because you have such a large selection of carriers, pretty much everyone is going to have to search for theirs. I know this seems like pure laziness, but depending for those of us with large devices, we have to reposition how we hold it just to tap the box, then reposition to type.

Same for the barcode scanner. I have to turn my phone sideways to scan the barcode, and then turn my phone back up the other way when it's done. Quite frankly, it's annoying. I've tried other barcode scanner apps, but they don't work as well as the recommended one.

I'm personally using the paid barcode scanner by one of the developers of the recommended free one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.srowen.bs.android
This scanner supports scanning in both orientations.

I'll make a change in the next update that makes this behavior more intuitive.

If the keyboard is open in the main edit window (which is normally the case because you type the name and tracking ID), the keyboard will not be hidden anymore by opening the provider chooser. So if you follow the default order of the input fields, you will have the keyboard open in the provider chooser by default.
